CITIZEN OF THE YEAR AWARD
CRITERIA

An Individual in
the Greater Gardner Area who, over a period of time, has consistently
demonstrated excellence in professional and community leadership;

Has made, or is
making, significant contributions to the welfare of the community
through involvement and participation;

Has given freely of
their time and energy for community betterment;
-
And whose effort
shave contributed to positive economic growth and stability for the
area.
COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD CRITERIA
-
Individuals,
Groups, and Organizations in the Greater Gardner Area who during the
past year, have made noteworthy accomplishment (s);
-
Or have exhibited
outstanding initiative, inspiration, leadership and organizational
skills which produce significant results directly benefiting the
community and its Citizens.
BUSINESSPERSON OF THE YEAR AWARD CRITERIA
-
This Award is
presented to a Greater Gardner BusinessPerson who operates an
established business;
-
Has Experienced a
growth in the number of employees during the past year;
-
Has Experienced a
growth in sales and or unit volume during the past year;
-
Innovativeness of
product or service will also be considered as criteria, although this is
not considered mandatory.
COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT AWARD
CRITERIA
-
Firms, Businesses,
and Organizations in the Greater Gardner Area which, during the past
year, have improved their physical facilities;
-
Upgraded their
operation to provide better service;
-
Or taken other
positive and constructive actions which resulted in area beautification,
created more pleasant surroundings and an improved atmosphere which
reflects favorably on the organization itself and enhances the Business
and Professional Standards within the Community.
