The Greater Gardner Chamber of Commerce shall pursue a leadership role to strengthen and improve the quality of life, image, and economic vitality of the Greater Gardner community through business support and advocacy, and by providing political, social, and informational activities to the business community it represents.
About Us
The Greater Gardner Chamber of Commerce is committed to the economic growth and prosperity of all our member businesses. We work hard to provide businesses the highest quality and most useful services and programs. From technical support and small business counseling to direct services such as health and dental insurance plans, the Greater Gardner Chamber is the source of business assistance and support in the Greater Gardner area.
There is no single organization more appropriate or committed to address the issues and concerns of the Greater Gardner business community. The Chamber ensures the interest of our membership through advocacy, programs, services, and community leadership. We also act as a unified "Voice of Business" to local, state, and federal constituents.
The Chamber encourages a healthy public/private partnership to collectively promote economic growth, and we work closely with city, state, andd federal agencies and departments. However, the Chamber of Commerce is a private non-profit organization, separate from the government and public sector. We are an incorporated business organization governed by a 17-member Board of Directors, who are elected annually by the membership, and run by a dedicated staff employed to execute the day-to-day operations and programs, and to administer policy set by the Board.
The Greater Gardner Chamber of Commerce relies on the financial investment of its membership to provide all of its services and programs. Chamber membership is voluntary, renewable annually, and open to any business, professional, or organization employing a minimum of one person. Membership in the Greater Gardner Chamber is an investment for your business, and our committees increase the benefits of this investment by working on issues and programs that are important to our members. The seats on our committees are open to all members, and participation is not only welcome, but highly encouraged.
You do not have to be involved in everything the Chamber does to benefit from membership, though. Committees are working on important projects all the time, and you are asked and encouraged to get involved only when you have the time and ability to do so. Your investment supports the important work you would like to have done, even when you do not have the time to personally get involved.
